Mr. Slam is a vehicle that has appeared in Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal 4, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl and Twisted Metal: Head-On. Mr. Slam is a front loader that usually has good armor and a powerful special. What it lacks, is a speed.

Driven by Simon Whittlebone, a former engineer that dreams of making a building that is the tallest in the world. He got fired from his job when he tried to do this and he snapped and stole Mr. Slam while holding a machine gun. He joins the tournament in hopes to accomplish dream.

Mr. Slam's special weapon is the Grab and Slam. Mr. Slam will slam its crane down into the ground and cause major damage if any cars are within the range and grab them and slam them twice before tossing them. Vehicles like Minion cannot be picked up but will be tossed away instead.

Once Simon has won the tournament, he demands that Calypso help him build the tallest tower in the world. In just a few days, the tower becomes the tallest ever seen and Simon was happy with it. Soon he started to have doubts about the height of his building and he would become enrage and scream from the top of his tower before slipping and falling to his death.

In Twisted Metal 4, Mr. Slam returns as Super Slamm. He is one of the bosses found on the Oil Rig area and fights alongside Super Auger.

Similar to the Twisted Metal 2 special weapon, Super Slamm will lift the opposing vehicle with its front scooper before slamming it down three times.

Known as just Slam, Mr. Slam makes his return in Twisted Metal 4.

The oldest and the biggest of the contestants, Slam enters the contest seeking revenge after Calypso destroys his treehouse!

When Slam wins the tournament, Calypso asks Slam what he is gonna do about the wrecked treehouse. Slam replies by telling him he won't do anything. Then a giant front loader buries Calypso into the ground and has a port-a-potty land on his head as Slam enters it.

[edit] Twisted Metal: Head-On

Operated by Simon Whittlebone's ghost, Mr. Slam makes a return in Twisted Metal: Head-On. He enters the tournament so that he can finish his tower that he never completed.

Mr. Slam has to be unlocked by completing the Freeway Slalom in the Los Angeles area.

In Twisted Metal 2 ending, he fell to his death in the Whittlebone Tower. Here, he comes back as a ghost who controls his vehicle. He was to be reborn so he could finish his tower.

Mr. Slam grabs his opponent and slams them into the ground a few times before they throw them into the air. His special will reach farther to grab enemies and deal more when charged.

Once Simon has won the tournament, he explains what happened when he died and admits he was careless when he was climbing the tower. He haunts the tower with his soul. Calypso inquires why he couldn't just work on the project, because he can control the vehicle well enough. Simon explains that he haunts the tower to prevent companies from destroying the unfinished tower. He begs Calypso to bring him back so he can finish his dream and Calypso grants his wish by bring him back as a baby.
